Unus Mundus recorded two songs for a 7” vinyl single. Here's what went down... The songs are “Take Yourself Out” (featuring a guest drummer, Dale Crover… yes, THAT Dale Crover), and “DMMKY.”

Rob Fluhr and Steve Houston recorded bass, guitar, and vocals for “Take Yourself Out" in late August 2024. Then Dale Crover cut a killer drum track for it, recorded and engineered by Toshi Kasai. How in the world did Rob and Steve get one of the world's greatest drummers, the famous Dale Crover, to do this? Maybe Dale and Toshi might like the song? Magic? We're in the Matrix? The world may never know.

Anyway, not even a month after that amazing fact, another great drummer, Peter McCarron (of Beat Up fame), joined Unus Mundus. Then Unus Mundus (the band: Peter, Rob, and Steve) recorded "DMMKY." After the songs were mixed, they were mastered by Jason NeSmith at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia, USA. The single will be out in Fall, 2025! Keep checking back here!
